Default Gas Cheap

Well not cheap but cheaper. The Petro Can on Nanaimo and 1st Ave has a special going on right now till the end of August. They are offering 89, 91 and 94 octane for the price of regular. Because 1st ave. is closed nobody is stopping by and local business isn't enough to move the fuel. Check it out if you pump the good stuff.

Until our dollar went up and the exchange rate droped, the savings wasn't enough to warrant the 30min drive and 1/8th tank to the border to fill up. In fact it's still not cheap enough. If I happen to be down there then I will fill up. I do remember when it was dirt cheap though and we used to get pissed here about 43 cents a litre. We'd fly down to the boarder and fill our tanks. Ahhhh those where the days.

So Petro Can is considered one of the good stuff
Actually I was refering to the Octane rating of 94. You do of course know that the octane rating is a standard like IEEE. Meaning that one companies 94 octane has the same imperfections ppm as the next guys. You do also realize that the only difference between them, especialy at the 94 octane level, is the additives, and the reason companies started putting additives into fuels was to intice buyers.
