Date Aug 24 Sun.....a week before the Labour Day long weekend. A bit early....but I really want to guage the amount of interest before I jump into a bit more detailed planning.....

A suggestion from another member: (Thx Alex)

8:00am - meet at white spot downtown on Georgia for breakfast.
9:30am - depart for Whistler
10:30am - coffee at starbucks in Squamish
11:00am - leave squamish
12:30pm - get to whistler, and have lunch
3:00pm - leave Whistler
6:00pm - get back to Vancouver and decide if people want to have dinner or go home.

Obviously, nothing is written in stone.....please add your 2 cents

Why not have one in Banff or something like that. That way the Alberta boys can come out too. I'm in Edmoton and would not want to drive all the way to Vancouver. Banff however, I wouldn't mind.

 

Well, youre gonna have to organize one closer to you bro...

Vancouver to Whistler is about 2 hours

Vancouver to Banff is like 7-8 hours depending on how much lead is in yo foot

I think most of the 604 guys will not want to go to Banff for a meet....price of gas just does not make it easy on some ya know??

I think i can manage that. It would be a fun trip.. I went to whistler last weekend and it was only half a tank there and back. The only bad part about the sea to sky is the construction!

Aww man i just did the Hope-Princeton 2 times in the last 3 weeks lol (on a related note made it from my place in New West to Princeton in 2 hours, driven that road on my way to my hometown of Trail dozens and dozens of times since i was 16, know it like the back of my hand ....probably a no go for me then, cuz my g/f is supposed to be moving in with me, just not sure if it's sat or sunday now
