That is some cutom high end work right there, and here is a better look:

I cut vents on the OEM hood to improve cooling at the track.

Speaking of track, how did it go Travis? I never did make it out, got some some stuff done around the house though.

If my car runs again I might have to get you to cut mine up. I have a pattern already just no ***** to cut it myself.

My ***** are HUGE, so just let me know.

It took me twice as long to lay it all out as it did to actually cut it. It can be a PITA beacue there are not straigh lines.

Well things went OK. Friday night we were up till 4:00am finishing everything and car was loaded in trailer - ready to go.

Saturday morning, I was on my way to the track, when on the highway a lady in a truck cut me off, then slammed on her brakes. I slammed on my brakes, locked up all my tires on the truck and trailer. Strap holing car back breaks loose, car slams into the front of trailer. I was not a happy camper.

Then when I actually got on track the car was overheating like crazy. I managed to get some more air purged out of the cooling system but it's not completely fixed yet. Had to buy a special kit so this doesn't keep happening.

I finished 2nd on Saturday which gave me enough points to finish 2nd overall for the season. Not too shabby.

4:00 AM that is hard core stuff right there. Nothing but bad luck, you have to get out of this slump.

I plan on getting to Castro really early this Friday, should bring the beast out.

I have the stencil that Nismo uses for the JGTC cars, the G has a little different lines on the hood last time i looked i couldn't really find a spot they wouldn't look out of place. My under hood is hot in traffic the cooling system keeps up but you can barely touch any thing metal under the hood.

Nice result, Travis. Man, you and bad luck. Glad it was not more serious, though.
