Hey All...
I am looking at getting another set of Touring rims to use as winter rims.. I had question, if they had TPS sensors in them, would I have to have them re-calibrated for my TPS system or should I be able to put them on and have them work? I just want to get a sense before I go ahead and get a set...
Thanks in Advance ...

In my experience, TPS units rarely- if ever- work between cars. Your dash unit must be able to 'read' the radio signal that comes off your particular set of TPS. I have two sets of wheels with separate TPS installed and have to take them in to have the Nissan CONSULT system used each time I switch. Total time to reprogram all four TPS? About 10-15 minutes tops. Most dealers will want to charge $60-100, but I'd try to work a deal with whoever is servicing your Z and get them to throw it in as part of a regular service...
