New ?; Resurrect LMGT4 v. Kazera KZ-A
with that weight difference, you won't notice the difference in every day driving (maybe for the 1st 5 minutes, if you drive the 2 back to back, but other than that..) get what you like.

Unless something changes my mind, I think I'm going with the Kazeras.
If it's only $300 more for Nismos, you're crazy not go for them. Resale value alone would be worth it if you ever decide to change wheels or even sell the car. Regardless of the price, your saving a lot of weight and you've got a stronger, forged wheel. $75 per wheel to save 5 or so pounds of weight and go from cast to forged? You don't have to be Einstein to figure this one out.
9.5 Kazera chrome rears are 26.0 lbs.; 8.5 fronts should be slightly lighter, thus my initial guess that for a set of 4 rims, the total weight deficit to the Nismos is around 25 lb.
I know the weight advantage of the Nismos is real and exists, but has anyone ever quantified it in practical performance terms? Can any engineer type point me to any study of wheel weight from which I might know the AMOUNT of measurable advantage you can expect 0-60 and quarter from lower weight wheels? If someone could show me a half sec. difference 0-60 by virtue of an extra 25 lb. of wheel weight, I'd almost certainly buy the Nismos.
Anyone named Schumacher w/a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering care to "weigh in," so to speak?
