Default slightely bent 19inch wheel...help

Hi guys, I just found out that the wheel I purchased used recently has a minor wheel bend from inside of the wheel. It is not leaking air or anything right now. they are axis supermesh. I was wondering. Will i be fine as long as it's not leaking air? or once it's bent, is it easier to bend more on the same spot as I drive more? also, how much does a wheel shop usually charge for this minor bend? I will take some pics tomorrow, Until then...Please help me out with some facts.
thanks guys!
and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
John.

if you bought them from a vendor, i would ask for a replacement... but from the sounds of it, you purchased privately... did you know there was a bend in the wheel before you bought it?

if not... go after the seller!

if you're really stuck with the bent rim, and don't feel like replacing or repairing it, you'll be fine using it for the street (i.e. NOT the track or strip) ... just make sure to check your tire pressures regularly

hi, thanks for the reply! yes it was bought from a private person. I tihnk it's too much hassle to ***** him to get the money to get it repaired. if it's about $100, I am willing to do it on my own.
So you think i will be fine for streets? oh and I will be putting new tires on them this Wed. What tire pressure do you guys recommend?
245/35/19 fronts
275/35/19 rears
the tire PSI that I can protect the MOST on my wheels.
thanks guys!
John.

If it isn't leaking and can be balanced and go down the road smooth, then I wouldn't worry about it.

moogs wheel prob didnt leak (from the looks of it)...but even worse is that the wheel may wobble

you may never see it cause you are always driving the car...and you might not even feel it if its subtle enough

have someone drive your car on the freeway and see if the wheel wobbles (do it at speeds around 70mph)..if it doesnt wobble then theoretically you are fine

i run 38-40 psi cold for max rim protection in the city

(but remember, this produces minimum "traction" and ride comfort)

I've been leaking air from one of my tires for awhile now. When I got it checked they said they couldn't find anyholes. Could it be a warped wheel?

Could either be a cracked wheel or a leaky valve stem.

And yes my wheel did leak air...it had two slight bends in it enough to unseat the bead.
