Ok I got the 20" inch axis se7en mods..20x9 front and 20x10 rear. Ive been told by some guys on here that the correct size is 255/30/20 for the front and 285/30/20 for rear. Is this correct? Will I have a problem with these sizes? I want to know for sure before I spend 1300 bucks on tires alone. Please help..

I have the same size rims and I was told to get:
255/35/20 F
285/30/20 R
What tires are you planning to get? I wanted Toyo but they don't make 285/30/20 (Widest is 275) so I think I'll be going with the BF Goodrich KDW2 or Michelin PS2.

I have the same size wheels.
I had the tire place mount up a 285/30 and a 275/30, I ended up going with the 275/30. It looks much cleaner, the 285 looked to bubbled out on the 10" wheel. I would probably do 285 on a 10.5" wheel, but not on a 10". As an added bonus, you get many more choices and price range with the 275.
I went 245/35 in the front, but 255/30 would have been fine as well.
It's really just preference, I prefer the squared up look with these size tires, especially with wide lip rims. Bubble tires really destroy the look at an angle if they stick out past the lips.
Some people say the 285 may provide more curb protection, but honestly, with rubber band tires choose what looks better since neither tire is really going to protect your rim if you curb them.

pic, as you can see tires are not stretched at all at 245 and 275, they even still have a bit of room. This size tire you can still see both sides of the wheel even at extreme angles...

My axis seven mods will arrive today, and I am getting the BF Goodrich KDW2 285 30's on the back. Search the site and you will find a picture or two of a couple of guys that have these exact rims with the 285's on the back. they actually don't look much different than the 275's above. I think they could actually come out further.
I ordered my wheels from Tom at WheelStudio. He recommended going with either the 285 or the 295, although you can go as high as 305's. Tom seemed to know what he was talking about, so I went with the 285 in the rear.

aha! I knew I saw a few people on this site that was running the 255/35/20's in the front. Hows the ride? Does this setup effect your TCS? Can you please post closer comparison pics of the front and rear tires? Thanks!
