Looks great!!!! That almost makes me want to buy a set of track rims for mine. I assume you got somebody to do the polishing and powercoating - how much $$ ?

that looks amazing. i think i might have to do something similar to my track rays too. also, do you know if adding spacers would have any negative effects, such as decreased handling, increased wear on the hub or anything around the wheel, etc?

Working on the center caps. Should be made this week or next. Powdercoating will have to wait till the guy can work them in. Kind of a pain to setup and spray something that small I guess. But yes I will have blank center caps the same color as the wheels. The ones I have don't look to bad.

I think I'm jealous....wait....yep, I have confirmation....I'm jealous...haha.

I think the plain centercaps would look nice because it would make them look more aftermarket like the LE37 or TE37's with the blank caps.

Default Spacers

Is H&R the only brand of spacer that fit the Z? If you know any vendors that carry these (been to the website) or other brands please post. I'm thinking 15mm up front 20mm out back. What size studs would I need? I've read all the search results and everyone seems to be up in the air about these being good or bad. All thought on this are welcome.

The Track wheels will look much better pushed out IMHO.

Thanks for the help,

Dan

Performance Nissan sells the spacers and longer studs and they're a forum sponsor. I've bought a few things from them and have no complaints.

BTW the downside of spacers is increased wheel bearing wear. Of course, I've got wide, sticky tires and track the car so I doubt spacers would anywhere near as bad as that.

nis350ztt,

Don't know that I'm sure what you are missing here. Color is metallic not flat and the lip is polished not painted. Does that answer your question?

So the color of the wheel is the same...you just got it metallic flaked and the lip polished?

That's basically correct. The color is a shade or so darker but not much and the lip is polished. The flake really stands out in the sun. Looks good IMHO. Other advantage is that the powdercoating is very durable.
