Exclamation Are iForged wheels the way to go?

I think I'm going to order some 2 piece 20" iForged Aero wheels in high polish. Where should I order them from, and about how much are they gonna run me? I've been seeing some complaints about their quality on the board, so I'm wondering if it's all worth it! Anybody have major issues with them?

Order from Paul @ Avalon racing. He'll give you the best price you can get anywhere. Don't deal direct with iForged....they have had many customer service issues. As far as quality goes, I've heard stories, but my wheels are flawless. Those quality issues may be a thing of the past.

Thanks for the input! How long did it take for you to actually get your wheels after you ordered them, and how did you handle the TPS situation?

It was about eight weeks. The TPS sensors fit just fine.

I would suggest going with Paul as well. He will get you a better price. I have had numerous discussions with Vince Wong @ Iforged, and didn't have any problems with customer service.

Are those actual 3-piece wheels or 2 piece with studs added?

2 piece.....they're lighter and I heard a story about an iForged 3 piece wheel leaking air. I wish I'd left the studs off...too hard to keep clean! Awesome wheels though...you have to see them in person to really appreciate them. As much as I loved my Volks, these are hotter.

We have both 2 piece and 3 piece wheels. You can order 2 piece wheel with or without bolts. Watch out for company that simply say multi piece. You can end up paying 3 piece wheel price and get 2 piece wheel since 2 piece wheels are less expensive.

3 piece wheel can have a slow leak if the seals are broken. We now place a warning sticker on the each wheel to warn the tire installer.

I just received my 3-piece 20" iForged 'Sprint' w/ black face and polished lip.
This is my second set of iForged wheels (first set being 20" iForged 'Evolution').

Pictures don't do these wheels justice (you'll know what I mean once you receive them). They are absolutely beautiful !

How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking.
And how long for the wait?

gaklid :

I'm thinking to sell my Iforged, they are FS-Aero 3 piece 19x10.5 and 19x9. buushed aluminum and clear coat. They r still new because it's only 6 monthes old. The reason i'm thinking to sell them is my rear Stoptech can't fit. Thereofore I'm thinking either to buy another set of Iforged or sell my rear Stoptech. If anyone could buy my wheels,..than i could install my rear Stoptech. The retail for my wheel is $4398+shipping ..I'm willing to sell it for $3500 with free shipping. u can see my wheel's pic at here

2 years later and I'm still happy with my iForgeds! If you are patient enough to wait for them, they are well worth it.

Only complaint I have is the centercaps. This may have changed in the past two years, but mine came with polished centercaps that had the iForged logo stenciled(?) on. Problem is the iForged emblem is not perfectly centered and the paint color is a very light grey you cannot see. This seems like a minor thing and may be corrected by now.

BTW, though I think the Senekas are perfect for the Brickyard, I think the Aeros are about the sexiest iForgeds you can get for other color Zs!

i have 20" iforged aeros in brushed aluminum and i absolutely love them. They really make my car stand out. Ive had no problem with them so far. I think it took 7 weeks to get mine. Not bad at all. I'm pretty sure iforged fixed whatever issues they had in the past.

Are you the same ZZtopp from Vegas. Didn't recognize you without the ape. I am glad you like your iForged.

Miss you at SEMA 2004. We premiered our new forging and new designs at the show.

Come see us this year. We should have something new again this year. We also have slightly bigger booth.
