Default Looking for lightweight forged 18" rims

I want good quality, lightweight forged rims preferrably 18". I am going to attend HPDEs and auto-x. I won't be switching wheels out for events. Since my Z is just a summer car, whatever wheel and tire I put on wil be used for both the track and the street. I'm assuming that the rims that are closest to the stock offesets are optimal? If not, please explain (im new to this).

I'd like to get some nice sticky tires too, if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks,
Phil

Since I have the performance model I have 8" wide wheels all the way around. I heard somone say that we don't have enough hp to yield tires that are too much more wide. I was thinking either 9.0" back 8.5" front...but I really don't know.

Depends on your budget...look at Volks, Nismos of coarse, or for something different look at CCW (ccwheels.com)

Might you be looking for a used set of wheels and tires that would set you up nicely? I am going to be selling my performance Z and have a set of Volk 57Pro's. They have a forged center and polished aluminum rim. Look great and are perfect offsets with Toyo T1-S's on them already with next to no miles. Wheels are 18". 9" in the front and 10.5" in the rear. Offsets are +25 all the way around and tires are 265/35/18s and 295/35/18s respectively. Give me a shout via PM if at all interested.

No thanks, but I appreciate the offer. I do have a question though. I've seen a few people with +25mm offsets all the way around. When I look at the nismo section of the Nissan website, it shows the fronts (8.5" wide) at +25mm and the rears (9.5" wide) with +30mm offsets. Is there any reason people aren't sticking to the +30 in the rear if available? Becuase I know some rims just don't provide those offsets.

I think i'm interested int he Nismo wheels. They are so expensive though...

SSR Comp-H are lightweight forged wheels
you can run a 18X9F and 18X9R combo or 18X9F and 18X10.5R.

The 18X9 are around 18 lbs
The 18X10.5 are are about 19.4 lbs

Those advans are really nice... kinda pricey though. Pricey in general I mean, not necessarily your price.

EDIT: nevermind

Yeah....offsets are a personal choice. I love the look I accomplished by custom ordering the wheels to my specifications. Simple mistake, but don't look at a car and evaluate your likes/dislikes based on how it looks if you aren't going to go with the exact tire width....I know lots of guys have been disappointed when their tires look tucked and got the same offsets as "joe blow" but didn't take tire size into consideration.
