Default Toyo T1 V BF Goodrich KDW

Does anyone who has had both these tyres have any comments about whether the KDW is better than the Toyo, or are they much the same?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have Toyo T1-S on my 19" Volks for quite about 9 months now with about 5000miles on them. For performance, it isn't bad. It has a decent dry pavement traction, and wet pavement traction isn't horrible but not was good as I expected. Road noise is quite loud IMO. Only one thing I hated about these tires are that sidewalls are very soft, so they flex when you throw your car into the corners. So I set my tire pressure at 38psi, (it's better to set it at 38 if you have 19" rims for protection anyway) then it goes away a little. But due to soft sidewalls, ride isn't that bad. It seems like it wears out pretty quick, as I think I have about 60% thread left after 5k miles, I think I will last up to 12k miles depends on how I drive. (I occasionally drive my car HARD, like once in a week, but usually I just drive normally. <<-- Totally relative term. LOL) I haven't used BF Goodrich KDW so I can't comment on it, although it will be my next set of tires. Heard lot'sa compliments about KDW's. Try search and you will come up with number of threads.

I actually have the same exact wheel set-up as seanrulz but I have the BFG KDW 2's. I think the ride is really good, they have a really stiff sidewall (they were a b*tch to mount). Really good traction in dry conditions and I have read they have good traction in wet weather but I haven't tried them in the rain yet. They do seem to be a little loud going down the road but I have only had them on for about a week so they are not really worn in yet. The price is really good compared to other tires of equal size and they have better reviews than most.

Thanks fellas, much appreciated feedback. Next time I'll do the search first! Looks like a set of KDW's are on their way DownUnder....

The KDW 2's also have a really cool flame tread pattern
