Default Powder Coating Track Wheels

I have a Sunset Lemans Track and I am thinking about powder coating the wheels. My first thought was to go black but I have talked to a couple other people and I don't know now. Can anyone give some suggestions and maybe even a photoshopped pic of one with black wheels. Thanks for the help!!!

You'll have to search, but a couple of posters have done just that - only they polished the rim, and left it shiny, which looked great.

Ah those look awesome in that thread... anyone have pics of powdercoated ones on the car? I'm thinking of eventually powdercoating mine gunmetal or bronze down the road.

let me tell you, he did ALOT of legwork on those rims. He inspired me to buy some new rims that were only available in bronze and have the color changed/lip polished. I wasnt able to find local powdercoaters with the motivation/skill/experience that he used. I didnt pay much but I got a super crappy PC job. Really regretting the whole ordeal. Like he says, if they tell you they cant or wont do something you want, pack up and head to another PC-er.

Bastard! Haha. I was thinking the same thing, over the winter while she's off the road. I was going to do them a light Gunmetal and polish the lip.

ive been thinking about getting my track rims power coated too, but i think the wheels are not wide enough and i would be better off saving more money and buying another set of wheels in the color i want (my favorite for 18 is lmgt4 or for 19 le37t).
