One day I will get another pair. But for $500 these are a nice set of rims. I plan to get rid of the chrome and do a place center with a polished lip or black lip with polished face. I am playing around with them on photoshop.

dont waste money on paint or anything on these.. you should try to flip them, make a quick buck and get some xxrs unless you have money for something nicer. your Z deserves better than these 20" chrome wheels..

I dont really like XXR- I have yet to find perfect rims for me. I like these because of the stance but they need bigger spokes.. to much empty-ness. These will do for a while. And then they will go away and something new will come.

Default 20s not fitting?

Hi everyone! I'm new here and I have a question. My 03 Nissan had 285/30/20's on it all the way around from the previous owner. I just got a flat tire from a cracked rim ( previous owner) and I want to get a new set. I want 20s but when I looked at the rest of the tires, they are cut on the top BC they were rubbing. Did the guy put the wrong size on? Or? Thanks!

That's bc a 350z wasn't made to have 20s on it. That's the nicest way I can put that in words for you. Get rid of your baller wheels and get some nice 18s or 19s that fit properly.

Pictures? A 285/30/20 in the front is almost 10mm taller than a stock tire btw.

I have 20s on mine. Im running 295/30 on reads. The 285s are fine for the rear but if u have on the fronts, that's where the prob is. Depending on your wheel specs--Just step it down. U can go with 225/35, 235/30 or I run a 245/30. And it depends on your suspension set up also.

But the back tire is rubbing with my 285s :/
Would the 285s on the front cause this?
No clue on suspension. Any way to easily tell?

I was thinking
245/30or35 in the front and a 275/30or35or40 in the rear.
Would 19s be a better choice performance wise?
And why would a 285 rub but not a 275?

Prob need to get the rear fenders rolled then. $60-80 bucks vs couple hundred gettimg mew tread. Up to u. I believe the tire set up that come w most 20s are usually-- front 245/35/20 and rears are 275/30/20.

Sounds like u need to do some homework on how to read tires and all. Do some google. (Not being smartass). Then u will understand more

19's are best..245/35 front,275/35 rear best overall sizes.
Look at Hankook v-12's.
Dump the 20's!

Definitely looking to buy 245 front and 275 rear.

Why would a 275/30 or 35 fit on the back without rubbing but a 285/30 would not?

Okay so did some research.
This should fit right?
I would much rather have 19 inch rims, but these were the ones I was originally looking at.
http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse....agePath=images

Front: 18x8.5 +15-25 245/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 +15-25 275/40/18

or

Front: 19x8.5 +15-25 245/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 +15-25 275/35/19

Those are terrible. Please visit the wheel and tire marketplace here on the site for better options.

lol @ the science picture..

OP, if you're looking for performance, you should get 18s. If you care about looks more, go with 19s.. but not the ones in the link you posted.. those are hideous.
