Question Bizarre wheel question

Would it be ok performance-wise/handling wise to have 2 different sets of wheels on the Z? Both sets same size (18x8.5 Front, 18x9.5 Rear) but different styles. For example, Axis Hiros on the driver side of the car, Axis Reverb on the passenger side. Wondering if this would look cool or retarded?

I wouldn't do it but I have OCD where everything has to be symmetrical. That's why I have such a problem with the way the doors and seats are different.

You can do different front and rear without any problems. But left and right? I really think you'd have problems.

Yeah, the only way it looks "right" is it it's at a wheel manufacturer's booth at a car show and they're tryin to show off different sets of wheels. Besides, I think you may have a problem with different weight wheels on the same axle, but I'm not really sure. If you really want to be different and mix it up, at least go front and back.

It doesn't sound like that great of a concept, but I doubt that a majority of people will even notice when you're driving on the road. That is, unless they're scoping you from both sides of the car... and why would you even contemplate a setup like this in the first place?

I've seen people that have different wheels for the fronts and backs, but never for the setup you're proposing.

The first time I read this I thought it was about tires, not wheels.
