I have 19x8.5 +22 Front and 19x9.5 +33 Rear with 245/35's and 285/35's out back. My fenders are not modified and I don't rub. Im gonna try to stuff some 305/30's back their and 265/30's up front. I'll expect to roll fenders on that tho.

The secondary # is just a percentage. The sidewall height is a percentage of the width of the tire. Let's say the tire is 275/35/. The side wall height is 35% of the width (275mm). So the sidewall height of this tire is 275mm x .35 = 96.25mm. So the sidewall height of a 275/30 would be shorter. 275mm x .30 = 82.5mm.
I hope this helps. (and I hope I'm right!)

Nice setups
I don't have 9.5 in front (8.5 instead), but I am running 10.5 in the rear at +29.
FYI. I didn't roll when I was at STOCK height. When I dropped the car 5/8" and got my alignment corrected, it was at that point I had to cut my fenders. I simply took a cutting wheel and cut a small section out of the inner lip/flange where the wheel would make contact. I then applied some touch up paint to prevent oxidation and rust. *I wouldn't roll your fenders in the cold.*
I'm running 295/35/19s at 11.6" wide. With the cut fenders I'll be moving up to a 295/30/19 this spring that is 12.2" wide.

Would be 275mm x .35 = 96.25mm side wall height.
So over all diameter of the tire would be:
96.25mm x 2 + 19" = 26.58"
