Thank you very much for the info. Will ask my body shop and a tire shop, it's a hard thing out here in West Virginia to find places to do what you want, reliably. Any tips from fellow West Virginian's on recommended places to do this reliably are more than welcome.
Are you at stock height? Any rubbing? Very close to making the switch to the +17.
I have Tanabe GF210. Supposedly drops 1.2" rear and 1" front. I have about ~1/2" gap all around. I did rub on the rear with stock suspension on certain bumps at moderate speed. So, I rolled the fenders to be safe before lowering. I say go for the +17. The car sits oh so nice with a decent drop.
I managed to roll my fenders w/out a heat gun and actually pulled them slightly. without the paint cracking ... it all take patience and care and experience helps as well. Of course different cars will do different things.
Just got my Volk GT-7 tonight. These were the best pics I could get in the dark.
19 x 9.5 +23 255/35/19 toyo
19 x 10.5 +30 285/35/19 toyo
The offsets above are needed for Brembo brakes. I am still on stock suspension and so far no rubbing. Tein Flex with EDFC to come after I get my tax return.
BTW, I did order the caps, but they are on back order.
Thanks to all. I decided on VOLK GT-7's in diamond black and ordered them from STATUS in the 19x9.5 19x10.5 setup. They will be here Friday.........I can't wait!
