To make it as a long term member here you have to toughen up with some thick skin. Helps weed out the guys who drift into poles on Thanksgiving.

I won't be doing any street drifting. Lol. But eventually I want to do track drifting when my parents trust me enough to go to drift lessons.

Make sure the tires are facing the correct way, if you got directional tires.

God Sparco your car is pure sex. And yea I made sure while I was at the tire place that they aren't directional. So I'm good to go. Once I figured out they were the wrong way it was bugging the crap out of me

Thumbs up Need Help

Hey guys asking for help not too sure as to what tires sizes I should run to get a clean functional flush look.

I have a pair of
Volk Sf Winnings 19" x 9.5f +19 and 10.5r +29offsets

f: 241.3mm
r:266.7mm

Lowered 1.25" all around not to much camber is wanted functional

I'm looking at TOYO Proxes R888

f: 235/35ZR19
r: 265/35ZR19 = assuming a minor stretch

Since Yokohama Advan A048 doesn't make a 19" Tire...non the less any suggestions for similar tires are welcomed!

I'm aware that the r888s run a bit wide but you should be able to pull off 285/35s in the rear if the fenders are rolled.

That's what I was thinking, but unfortunately they don't make a 285 x 19 (or at least on Tirerack.com)
I don't know if I'm sorry out of luck or if a 295 would be to much of a difference? as in bulkiness from the front.

I might call to see if they make a custom size :S

Those tires are way too small for those wheel widths, the R888 doesn't stretch since it's made for people who actually want to drive hard on them. If you want to stretch some tires you need to look into another kinda tire that's not designed as a race/autocross design.

888 265/35 on a 10.5 , no problem. It will be hardly stretched, those tires are wide, the 275 on a 10.5 has no stretch

Not looking to stretch tires I wouldn't be posting in this thread if I was looking for that, but I can understand the confusion as to where that idea came from...

So I think I will go with the R888 under these measurements.

F: 235/35ZR19 for a 19x9.5+19
R: 265/35ZR19 for a 19x10.5+29

If you guys think of any better tires (Performance and fitment) for my wheel dimensions please feel free to let me know.
(Thank you for the help)

Default 350z budget tires under $500

Hey guys im new to the forum and just bought my white 04 z. Id like to first say sorry if I put this in the wrong section. I just ordered 19" Varrstoen ES2's 10.5" and 9.5". Now I will need tires to fit. I was thinking 275/35/19 and 255/35/19 but I honestly have no clue. The point is I need decent looking/performing summer/all season tires with a budget of around $500. Take this as a challenge
Thanks everyone!

Count the major brands out. You can get some used or made in China off brand tires.

Start searching, same thing we would have to do for you. PayPal me $20 and I'll see what I can find for you. I have a feeling it may be some tires like Sunny or some other crap.

I just asked a similar question right above yours...The last thing you want to do is go cheap with tires...their the first point of contact with the road.

F: http://www.mavistire.com/productcart/pc/_shopbysize.asp
R: http://www.mavistire.com/productcart/pc/_shopbysize.asp

Buy 3 get 1 free! Wahooooooooooooooooooooooo!
(Don't know if that applies to a staggered setup/2 different sizes of wheels)

Hope that helped

Ps : (I Use some of these brands on my Civic...Not on the Z)

Just lowered on coils with SPC rear alignment kit.

Volk GT-F:

Front: 19 x 9.5 +4 with 245/35/19
Rear: 19 x 10.5 +5 with 275/35/19
