Hey guys I gave a quick question. I am thinking of getting some 19 inch wheels to replace the stock 17s on my 350z. I found a good deal on Craigslist but am worried the wheels might be to narrow. Would getting 19 inch wheels that are 7 inches in width look strange? The tires on them are 225/35/19 and the wheel brand is 5zigen and they have a +48 offset. They are also not staggered. Please let me know.
AGREED
silly noob....
well stated

Buying some infiniti g35 wheels 19in
Im buying some g35 wheels, you know the 19 inch "forged rays" tomorrow. They are 19x8 and 19x8.5 i believe.
Anyways, i was wondering from all the tire ***** out there what i could run on it, and has anyone done it. Ive seen the pictures of them. Now i wanna get the words of wisdom from the people and what size tires they have ran.
They are going on my 2004 350z btw,
so what sizes do you all think

Help
So I was thinking of doing 19x10 +22 all around and was wondering if it would be bad in the front. I know it will fit in the rear and I would put a 245/35/19 in the rear with a spacer probably. And then a 235/35/19 in the front. Would that work in the front with minimal rubbing. Also I don't mind the mild tire stretch I like that.
Thanks for any info, Kaleb

Re Kaleb
You can easily go 275 35r 19 back & 245 up front easily. The rear fenders roll easily without distorting. You probably could go 295. Depends on if you're lowered. I would go 275 back 245 front. No problem.

I'm going to lower it 1.25" and then eventually slam it. I don't want fat tires or anything and thanks for the info. I'm going to get camber arms for the lower and I will be on coilovers not springs. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the wheels. They are Vossen CVT's. So with the camber arms and slightly stretched tires, this set up should be OK, right?

Slamming a 350z is never ok. But "ok" in the sense of rubbing? Theoretically you can add negative camber until nothing rubs while the suspension is at equilibrium. However, with the shortened suspension travel due to being sammed, there's no guarantee you won't be hitting all kinds of crap when the suspension compresses. The slammed crowd doesnt prioritize not rubbing. Just something to chew on.
Thanks, Kaleb
