275 or 255 for the rear
rim size is 19 10.5 +12 offset and contemplating whether to go with a 255/35/19 rear tire or go with the 275/35/19. Car is lowered on gf210 springs and fenders have been rolled flat. I know the 255 will give it a little stretch and heard the 275 is to much tire so just trying to get some advice on which would be better to use. I heard the 255 will handle better than the 275 unless you are pushing alot of hp which mine isnt. Any advice appreciated.

Some tires run wider that others FYI
I have 18x10.5 +15 and 265 is BARELLYYY a stretch with my Wanli s1088's. With fenders rolled i am able to to not have to run THAT much camber. So i would say 255 or 265 would be good. I would pick the latter though

I'm not worried about rubbing issues as I have the fenders rolled flat already. My main concern is will the 255 perform better with basically a stock 350z than the bulkier 275 since its alot lighter. Heard the 275 is alot of meat for the rear end and that the 255 would actually make handling alot better but wanted to know if this holds any truth.

I have been reading up on this for a long time. Based on the look and minimal stretch I had decided to go 275/35/19 for my new rims. That was when I thought I was getting a 19x10.5 +12 rim (Varrstoen) ... now I am getting a 11inch +25 wide rim but still plan on going 275.

According to that chart, 265 is the minimum for a 10.5 wheel, and 245 is the minimum for a 9.5 wheel.
Does that mean I would still be able to run a 235/255 just slight stretch or is it just not a good idea?

That tire is an *approved* fit for all 275s. Yes..*slightly* stretched, but benefit is more clearance with no loss in performance. BTW, that fit is very similar to a 245 on a 9.5 rim, which I have up front...great turn in response there due to minimal sidewall flex.

They're PERFECT. 255s are a stretch for sure..not that you can't use em, but I would take the 275s hands down over the 255s on a 10.5. All other things being equal (same tire), on a 10.5, the 275s will OUTPERFORM 255s.

245-35-19 & 235-40-19?
Hey, I'm interested in buying 19 inch G35 Ray's Forged rims but they have some weird tires on them. The front tires are 19x8 245/35/19 which is standard/normal and the Rears are 19x8.5 235/40/19. I'm not too good with rims, but I know the setup that was on the car when I bought it is off because the sidewall is higher on the front than the back. This ended up causing TSC errors. I was just wondering if this setup of the G35 rims would throw errors. I'm not too good with tire calculations but according to the tire calculator i get that the setup would cause the front to be 0.39 diameter difference too fast from stock and the rears would be 0.57 diameter difference too slow for stock. Would this be covered under the 3% error descrepancy given by the TSC?
