You mean "stuff" like offsets? I assure you width and offset plays a huge roll in how a set of wheels looks.

alright i guess ill put it in technical terms... i dont care about the offset right now because i just want to know how these style of rims look on the car no i wont buy 7.5 inch rims or the wrong offsets. after i see a set on the car i will look for the proper offset and size.. does that make you guys happier.. what im saying is i dont care about the offset right now.. because i just want to see what they look like. the black on chrome. or has no one ever found a set that fits?

what is the MIN you would need.. would a 20 x 8.5 38 mm offset work? or you going to need 9.5 min and 30-35mm offset. mine is a 2004. right now both are 18's factory.

I ordered some 18x9.5 +12's. Will 265/40 all around rub? I know the rear will be fine but what about the fronts?

Largely depends on type of tire, amount of drop and camber. I'm running 265/35s street tires on 18x9.5+22s up front with no problems and I've seen 275/35s up front as well. From a looks standpoint 40 series is getting pretty tall in that width.

Hmmm so I should run 265/35? Its gonna be pretty low. I would rather not have to run retarded amounts of camber.

Look at the 2007 Nismo Rims and tires. OEM tires are about the right size.

Since you aren't looking to drop I would recommend 245/40F and 265/40R.

You can do 275/40R but I don't like to see more than a 20mm width difference on same width wheels, otherwise the difference in sidewall stiffness F/R might start to feel weird.

I run 265/35F and 275/35R but that would look really odd at or near stock ride height. PS2s don't come in 285/35 or I would have those on the rear.

I'd do 255/40 275/40...same height as stock 225/45 245/45.

And 40 series will look fatter than 35 series, but 35 is really short. I wouldn't recommend to 35 series unless you are using a 275 front and 295 rear (and 295 is too wide for a 9.5" wheel).
