That's cool. But, I did a little more research and found some black 18x9.5 RPF1s with +15 offset. So I won't need spacers at all I don't think.

They will be useless if I ever decide to go Spec Z which requires no more than 9" on the front and 10" on the rear. But the odds of me going from DE to WTW in the next year or two are pretty low anyway.

I just bought tires. Wimped out a little bit. Was hoping for some 265/35/18 Nitto NT05s but they are back ordered all over the country. Star Specs, Hankook R-S3s and Kumho Ecsta XS were on my list but when I found Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 265/40/18s on sale I went for those. Not as good for the track but they will get some DD use and the speedo stays accurate. They were literally $300+ less than the cheapest of the other tires listed above. I have had a set before (on my G35 coupe) and they did decent at the track and they will be a huge step up from the El Dorado Velozzas () that came on my Z.

If they totally suck, I'll use them up on the street and save my bucks for some R-S3s later but right now I'm totally in penny pinching mode.

Default Tires for 10's/11's 0n 18"

What tires are you guys running in the rear for this size?
I now have 275/40 on 11's and will move to 295/35s there and keep front 245/40 (on 9.5s). Just wondering how ride is with the lower profile wall..it's 7mm less than 275s).

Anyone know what the stock front suspension travel on these car is? I see pictures where the front tires stick out past the fenders and it looks like even a half inch compression would contact the fender. It is easy to tell how much downward travel the suspension has when you jack the car up but it must not have much upward deflection at all.

Not noticeable, the tire construction will make the biggest difference in ride.

Thanks..one other question...

Will 275/35s clear the inner suspension up front without a spacer? I have 9.5 26mm offset and 245s now and it looks like I have about 1/2" clearance on the inside with the verticle link to the hub. I have a 5mm spacer available if needed.

I'm curious about that too. Tires for my new RPF1s are supposed to be here today!

I found some stuff on a search here. I think the 275s up front (on my 9.5s) will indeed increase steering effort. I'l prolly stay with the 245 up front on my 9.5s. On this size rim, the 245 really grip with zero flex (They're barely stretched). Car is very neutral now with 275s on 11" rear (stretched a tad more). I'm going to go 295s on my 11" rears though. If it pushes (understeers) with those, I'll increase rear bar stiffness a tad.

Ron I can't speak on my car as I'm running a 245/40/18 on a 9.5 up front, but I did ride along with a friend last weekend at an autoX event. He runs the Hankook R-S3 in a 265/35/18 on a 9.5 up front and he doesn't seem bothered by steering effort at all. He was the fastest of six 350Zs that day (of course other factors come into play). Just thought I'd share.

Funny you brought up 265s..I might go that route. I won't do 275s though.

I only noticed the steering difference when stopped or going at a very low speed, parallel parking etc. I'm going to swap over 275s again this weekend.

Tramlining (tracking) is another consideration with daily street driving for me.
