i'll chime in a little bit since i have a similar setup.. (close anyway)
my specs:
RS05RR
front 18x10.5 +15, 275/35-18
rear 18x11 +16, 295/35-18 (i go for a 305 or 315 series tires once im done with this set.)
2.50 Degree of camber all around (front is on stock alignment adjustment parts, so with my drop 2.50 is the natural camber from lowering the car)
KW V3 coilovers
Rear fenders are rolled (mildly)
Front fenders are not rolled

I do track my car and at full load my front barely rubs.

To answer your question on fitment in the front and to utilize the width of the front wheel, i wouldnt go smaller than a 275/35 series tire. This should fit on stock alignment arms depending on how low you set your coilovers.

I bet you will be fine with a 265/35-18 up front, but I would go 275/35 and add a hair of camber. Then a 286/35 rear and your all set

I run 18x10.5 +15 up front with a 265/35, lowered 1.3", -1.8 camber last time i got it aligned. never heard a peep from the font fenders.. The rears are a different story lol i am just too lazy to roll them.

18x10.5+5 285/35 rears, lowered 1.8" i think, may be 1.7 but i forgot last time i checked. dunno the camber but its not much more than stock.

Exactly....wtf is the point of having a wider rim with a more narrow tire than the stock 8" wide wheels.

So I decided on wheels. They are the Cosmis Racing XT206R
Specs-
18x9.5 +10 front and 18x11 +8 back.
Tire Sizing
Front- 255/40/18
Back- 285/40/18
Ok now for the questions. I know i will need a roll and a camber kit for the rear. I am going to drop it with Tanabe Sustec Pro SOC coilovers and get an Eibach rear camber kit. Now, will I need a camber kit for the front or will it work? Cause i dont have the money for the front and rear kit. And also are these tire sizes good or should i go 245/40 and 275/40?
Thanks, Kaleb

I prefer 255/40-18 front and 275/40 rear, you may need a hair of added front camber to clear. You can easily substitute a 245/40 up front depending on size availability of the tires you select.

Ok cool thanks. Are you saying that if I were to get the 245/40 it would fit with less issues than the 255/40? If so then I don't mind downsizing.

hi everyone , new in Z land , sold gtr and got 350Z RHD japan market right hand drive , for the future RB26/30 swap

i read a lot about rim fitment but more i read more i get confused , some say max to run +15 offset then i see lots runing below zero offsets

have a question :

any chance i can fit this meisters on 350z ?

Fronts : 18x10 -3
Rears : 18x12 -20

i am ok with fender rolling and very little camber play , if its way to much agressive and will pop out than i will have to sell them and get in correct sizes before my Z gets delivered to me

my 350z is factory Brembo brakes , what is the widest rim in 18 inch i can mount in front and rear? will be meister S1 only

looking to get close to this Z wheel fitment but i have no idea whats specs are those meisters

thank

Dato

Why did you sell the GTR!?!?!?!?!?!!? Anyway if you want it to fit similar to the car shown then those wheels are way to aggressive. You could get them to fit but you would have fender roll or even pull and some pretty serious camber. So you would end up with a hellaflush look which I don't think you are going for that. I think that person possibly has like 18x9.5 with an aggressive offset in the front and a 18x10.5 with agressive offset in the back. Maybe with spacers. Hope this helps

The look and goals are good to know, and a 10.5 will fit up front with a wife tire if you get the proper offset.

thx for reply

i do really wont to run 18x10.5 all around , just dont know best offset to fill fenders perfectly , i saw one with +20 in the rear and i liked it , but dont know what to use in front +15 ? to clear brembos? or +20 or +25 is going to be fine?

terrasmak

if i run 10.5 in front , can i use 265/35/18 tires? is it to wife ones? 265/285 combo is going to ok ? still need the best offset option on 10.5 all around rims

i really like how Bmurray350z's Z sits on his meister reps but he is using 9.5 in front

265/35 will fit fine on a 10.5. Offset for the least amount of camber would be between +20 and +25 on the front and Brembo clearance depends on spoke design of the wheel, then if it does not clear, you would need more offset.

Default thoughts on setup

i am putting new wheels and tires on my 2004 nissan 350z to replace the stock 17s. i have in my possession new wheels that are 18x9.75 +20 offset all the way around and for my tires i am going to do do
rear - 275/40zr18 and front- 255/40zr18

i have found some hankook ventus v12 evo k110 on tire rack for a great price and would like to use these
on a current stock suspension setup do you think this setup will be good for a daily driver and no real hard driving?

i have done a lot of research and this size tires with wheels seems to work well with stock suspension and a daily driver, but wanted to see what comments were out there or any other suggestions!
thanks so much guys
caleb

tires are good, widths on wheel are good, offset is decent.... on stock suspension you wont rub....you will be fine with setup

I'm not worried about looks, just need new rear tires, mine are worn out after 5K miles, 245/45R18, Cooper Zeon 2XS. What's out there for good performance, and decent mileage? I'm not expecting more than about 10K miles, for sure, probably less. I put on about 1 or 2K miles per year, no winter driving at all, so summer, good traction tires. I'm an agressive driver. Thanks. -- Dave

In terms of finding tires and finding a good deal - would switching from 255/40 to a 245/40 up front make a huge deal with my exact setup i said earlier?
thanks
