Repairing Rims?
Hey-
so when you guys bend/damage a rim, how much does it cost to repair it rather than buying a whole new one?? Specifically, a Volk GT-C.
Im not talking totaled, but the rear right lip got a little bent from a curb making a real tight right turn.
I know a brand new 20x10.5 would cost like 600 bucks, so Im hoping simply repairing it would be much cheaper. Any estimates??

you can try USA Wheels in Fairfield off rt.46 they are kind of expensive but they do really good work
yeah... theyve been on like 2 weeks... i almost put my head through a brick wall when I saw the rim. I was like youve got to be kidding me?
The situation couldnt have been worse...
I was making a tight right turn on a busy street into a ridiculously small uphill driveway with buildings on either side of it and i hit the curb making the right.
Anyway, thanks for the info. 150-225 sounds much better than paying like 550-600 for a new rim.

Im in the same boat, 1 month old volk gt-7 scraped a peice of concrete. its not bent its scratched a little. there is a website called bentrim.com also a place in fl called turb-x or something. make sure they clear coat it when finished

Now I really am gonna put my head through a brick wall.....
so I go to take my rims off and put my stocks back on...
I notice that after I take off each nut little shards of metal dust is coming out with each of them...
I look at the bolt coming out of the break rotor, and it is stripped as hell, its like a frikkin bottle neck at the tip. So my lug nuts were too small for the car... my brother thought they were just really tight when he was putting them on.
Every single bolt for the rims is stripped on my car now and the stocks couldnt go back on.... what the hell do I do now?? Can I get replacement bolts for the rotors or something, or do I have to replace my entire rotors?
As of right now, I cant move the car, its sitting on jack stands cause the stock wheels wont thread.

I don't think you'll need to change the entire rotor. From what I recall reading, you'd just have to change the hub bolts. I think Performance Nissan sells those. I'd give them a call and explain your situation. They helped me out of a bind not too long ago & had a great experience. They'll get it to you right away.
