New Rims Coming - What color caliper?
Hey guys,
I thought I would get some of your opinions about what color to paint my calipers? I have 19" Axis Milanos on the way & I'm not sure whether I should paint my calipers Red or Black? I have a Super Black Touring. Any advice/suggestion would be much appreciated!

IMHO, painting calipers looks tacky. Just save up some money and buy a big brake kit later.
But if you must, I say paint them red. I think you would hardly notice them if you did black.

I'd love to go with a big brake kit, but the $5k on brakes is a bit steep for now. Getting married next year & saving/spending for that. Can see the future wife's face right now:
"Honey, we don't need to go on a honeymoon.......so do you like my new big brake kit? Honey......put the knife down........."

That's great! Not sure how black would look. I personally would prefer blue.

Yeah I thought about that. I figured black would blend in & look better than the bland color of the calipers currently. I would hate to have some one checking out my rims & wonder what the hell that little red thing is behind the rims.
Or I could steal the engagement ring back, sell it, get some Chrome Grex brakes & move out of Atlanta so my fiancee (ex at that point) doesnt hunt me down & cut me (or even worse, key the Z!!!)

you should PM 2003z. He can powdercoat your brakes pretty much any color you want and he does an excellent job.
