[QUOTE=chazzg]No spacer needed, the +20/+25 is a great offset for the Z. +15/+20 Like on the Axis Milano Looks just as good if not better(but the Hiro's do not come in that offset). The only reason I did not get the 10.5 in the rear was Axis only offered it in a +35 offset, and that would be too tucked in for my taste.

I have the Eibach Springs on my Z,(so about one inch) but for some reason it looks a little lower than other Z with the Eibach that I have compared it to.

Ok I got a question. I admit I don't fully understand the whole offset thing and more specifically how the numbers (+15 +20 +33 etc...) relate to how far the wheel sets in or out. All of my hot rods till now have been mostly motorcycles lol.

Anyway....

Are you saying that the 10.5" Hiro's with the +35 offset, leave more room between the outer edge of the rim and the fender lip?

If so, roughly how much more room would there be in between the outer edge of the 10.5" rim and fender compaired to your 9.5" rear wheels, with your +25 spacing?

Would there be 10mm more space or 5mm more space?

The lower the # the farther the wheel sticks out.

The stock offset I think is 35? I'm not sure but I think it's in that area.

Stock offset.

with a 22 offset

IMO a RWD car with a crappy offset makes the car look like a pansey. =)

Great job Chazz! The car has a very "clean" look to it. Very nice!

Hey chazzg I'm curious, Where did you order your V3 hood from?

And do you have any rubbing issues with either the rear or front when you push the car hard?

A 10.5'' rim is wider by .5'' on each side. 1 inch = 25.4mm. So the 10.5's are 12.7mm wider on the outer edge than the 9.5'' rim. But, the 35mm offset is 10mm more tucked in than the 25mm offset. +12.7mm OUT - 10mm IN = the 10.5'' rears should still stick out 2.7mm or 1/10th of an inch more than the 9.5s.

> to the Hiro or Milano owners, any thoughts on possible cracking? I hear Axis quality could be questionable, and my Z is a 30k/yr daily driver...

> and hey Jeff, that +22 rear looks mean. Are you running Hiro's as well? What size and offsets?

The Hiros that cracked were the last batch cast from their old plant. Not that many out there that cracked, you just hear about it more b/c people will need to vent. Call Axis....they will set you straight. If you are one of those people who got one of those wheels...they'll replace it...no questions asked. Axis make good mid-range wheels. I'm very pleased.

Chazzg,

Can you please tell me where you bought your Hiro's from and if you had any problems with the vendor? Thank I appreciate it. Did you get a wheel tire package deal? Thanks! I sent you a PM too.
