newb question!!

Default newb question!!

sorry guys but ive been lurking around here for like a couple weeks now and im trying to figure out what offset is...I know it has something to do with tires and rims but what exactly is it?

offset is the orientation of the hub mounting point to the outside of the wheel

by the wheel manufacturer... it is not something that you can modify yourself. However, with some 2 and 3 piece wheels you can send them back to the manufacturer to have them install the centers on new barrels at a different offset.

hey man I appreciate your help...just one more question!! When some one says "They are +22 offset" that means what?

It means that the mounting pad of the wheel is 22mm forward of the centerline of the wheel.
