what causes these rotor waves?

Default what causes these rotor waves?

So, I'm out yesterday enjoying a road with very long straight sections in between very tight corners, requiring several back to back to back 120+ to 30 slow-downs. Now, I've seen the metal in my rotors turn blue several times before, but are these waves caused by the ABS's pulses?

And on another note, I need to get a video at night stopping at the end of that road, cause I'm sure I could get the brakes to glow.

I bet if looked at the the rotor, the width of the blueing corresponds to where the vanes are in the rotor. Wider blue sections where there are no vents... my 2¢
