Just wondering since they fixed the curb rash they would've had to replish, taking away the anodized clear coat. So you'll have to repolish your wheels every so often since it'll now get duller right? Hows it look?
yeah, i mentioned the clearcoat thing to them and i asked if they reapplyed a clearcoat...they said it wasnt needed and that they just put some wax on it....i was like WTF but i didnt know enough to complain
here are some before/after pics of the area...it look alright...i do not want to give this shop ANY props tho cuz im very disappointed with their buisness practice

so in order to fix that area of curb rash they had to re-machine the lip all the way around to make everything blend. so i guess they took the clearcoat off all around the wheel....sigh...
On a personal note, by no disrespect on your experience with them, Wheel Techniques has done excellent top notch work on my previous cars and many of well known show cars in the industry throughout the years. I'm sure if you bring it in they can find a way to help you out with the that center cap.

^yeah, thanks "bubble"...that was my thought too....i would have thought that a good, experienced shop would have be aware of such damage and tell me about it....
maybe i was a bit rash with my statements but i was pretty mad when i found about my cap and that shop was closed....so i needed to vent a bit. i will be calling them next week to see what they can do.

^well i thought they were experienced enough to know to remove them or be careful not to damage 'em....oh well, next time i'll know....and for others out there, remove your center caps if you going to take your wheels to have it repaired
