Default Pro's and Con's of 275/30/19

Hi,

in near future I have to change my rear tires. Actually I ride a 275/35/19 on a 9.5" Rim
I'm thinking about getting a 275/30/19, better looks and accelaration! What are your thoughts on this size?

with 275/30/19 for the rears, there will be more gap between the tire and fender.
i dont know about the performance though.

I don't mind the gap, the car is lowered, so no Prob!

Waht about the VDC the braking system,... any probs to expect? Are there some gains in cornering speeds and acceleration?

I have read several times that 275/30/19 is not recommended...

275/30 - there are no pro's, only con's
con's include
VDC
more wheel gap
depending on wheel width, more stretched
harsher ride

i can't see how there would be more performance/acceleration with a 30 series tire unless you are talking the insignificant reduction in weight

You'll be out of spec, so your speedo will be off. Use the wheel/tire calculator found online

If that's true, what size tires are people running with the Nitto 555s? I thought they only came in 275/30/19?

How will this affect my VDC? What's gonna happen? Will it stop working properly?

yeah it'll either activate a lot when you don't need it or not at all when you do need it

isn't there some other tire out there that comes in a better size?

Alot of peeps are running out of spec setups. Most seem like they have no idea either...
