no, they are not on the car... its at the body shop with the nismo kit.
first props:
props to MonkeyMan (jeremy) and Streetsports. they are top
notch to deal with. i have over $4K in business with them, i like
them a lot.
now some background on the rims:
they are 19x8.5 +27 and 19x9.5 +24. the fronts are face1 (hi-
type) and rears are face2 (mid-type). this face difference is on
purpose to acheive a "look" i happen to like. many AMG wheels
look like this. its basically where the front spokes are "outward"
and the rear spokes are "inward." you can see what i mean by
the pictures. i also got the centercaps from rays.
the cost was about $2400 shipped.
oh yeah, the weight... fronts: 26lbs rears: 27lbs
i dont care too much about the weights since i have my stock
track rims for, well, the track.
i am wrapping them with S03's 245/35 and 275/35. these overall
diameters are as close to stock as you can get.
on to the pics.. please excuse setup and mess. i wanted to get
some quick pics. lighting was horrible, so i tried flash and no flash.
here is a shot of the boxes with specs (that's TXSTYLE in the
background):
here are profile shots. the ones on the left are fronts, rears are
on right. notice the face difference. i think it looks killer.
here are top shots, the ones on top are the fronts..:
and here is the "stack o' tires"
ask me any questions except when they are going to be on the
car... i am hoping for saturday, but dont hold your collective
breaths.

BTW:
hi-type is for large caliper clearance.
i would have gotten low-type for the rears, but they dont make them in 19"...

damn, i forgot:
the stock valve stem will not fit. this means no plug & play with stock tire pressure sensor. you could still epoxy it to the inside of the rim, but i am not gonna bother.. i never really use it.
besides, i would have to unmount and remount my stock rims to do that. YMMV.

I pick the car up from the shop tomorrow. They are buffing out all the pretty parts they painted. They wanted to buff them on the car.

Hehe, you have my wheels Mike!!!! Those were the set I decided not to get... I guess you bought them right away, decided not to go w/ the TE's after all? Look wonderful, can't wait to see them on your car. BTW.. my TE37 19" in gunmetal are already in, will be getting them on Tuesday.

Skidaz,
Thanks for the pics! The wheels look sick in that color! I can't wait to see them on your car.
Z461,
PLEASE put the pics of those gun TE's up as soon as they are on the car! I'm still debating on about 5 different sets of 18's to order for my CS enthusiast (to arrive in the spring), and the TE's are in the running.
Also, do either of you know of specific 350Z fitments for the LE37 T's? I really like the gunmetal with polished lip look. I'm thinking 8.5 and 9.5 widths, with 245/40 and 275/40 tires...should keep me very close to stock overall diameter. Also, do you know if the LE37's come in different face types like the GT-C's? My goals are as follows: I will probably be getting a big brake kit, so I will need clearance in the front. I would like a nice thick lip in the rear. I may get a suspension setup, so I don't want to deal with rubbing, etc. I want to keep the driving dynamics of the car intact...in other words, keep the same basic scrub radius, etc. Thanks guys.
Your crew is like the damn conquistadors charting new territory!
I think I want to move to Texas...this Fuggin snow is evil, and its spoiling my fun!
forgot to say...i'd consider 19's, but if you've ever seen NJ roads, you'd understand...they would be bent within a week i'd bet.
