Default Widest wheel

Anyone know what the widest wheel you can run on the back of a Z? I am looking to get a new set of wheels and would like to get as wide of a wheel as I can without having any issues. If I were to lower the car a bit would this effect the width of wheel I can purchase? Basically I am looking to get as big and wide of a wheel for $1500.(Just grad college and the Z needs some new shoes

People have done it. Just requires super low offsets and fender modification

Man, that's not even drivable. Those tires must be around $700 a piece or more and every time he goes over a pebble in the road he's got to be gouging a hugh chunk out of them. Bad azz wheels but he needs to do some fender work.

So I can get a set of staggered wheels 18x9.5/18x10.5 for around $1500?!?! How would I go about ordering a set? Are there wheel packages offered with a staggered set up? I apologize for all the questions, i'm coming from the VW camp ;-D

ENKEI NT03+M $1510.00

We offer a wheel and tire package with this.

I can do them with KUMHO Ecsta MX mounted and ballanced and shipped for $2600 Shipped depending on location.

Its the exact set up on my car...

Are there any other options, maybe with more of a lip?

a big lip and wide wheels just are not compatible without a compromise or a wide body kit, or maybe some custom axles and rear suspension links

ok, how about this, what would be the widest I can go in the front and the rear with out rolling fender modifications and or any other problems? I plan on eventualy going 1-1.5" lower, and I really don't want anything bigger than a 18" or 19" wheel.

This is going to be difficult to explain with out pics but here goes. What kind of offset is it when it looks like the center portion of the wheel is "recessed" when compared to the rest of the wheel? A friend of mine that has a 240sx set up for drifting and he is running a stretched 215 wide tire on his 5zigen wheel. It looks like the center part of the wheel where the lug nuts go on is set real far back in the wheel. Tough to explain I know.....maybe i'll try and get a pic next time I see him

that means he might have a very low offset on those wheels, maybe even in the negatives... i did that on my S14 before, the if the mounting holes are "sunken in" the offset becomes lower.

How does that work? They clear a 14.1" kit and not a 12.8"? My 16" Pro stars clear the Brembo's....

Maybe he was referring to the offset provided will not allow the caliper to clear the spokes of the wheel.
