Default Please recommend which GT-C rim would be needed to go on stock touring tires

After seeing skidazzle's and track305z's pictures of the GT-C rims, I am thinking about getting these rims. My dilemma is that I want to keep my stock tires for now. I have the 18" touring tires.

I am not a tire/rim expert and would appreciate your feedback on which size rims I need for the front and back and what offset is needed. I would like to be able to upgrade to wider tires once the stock ones need to be replaced so please keep this in mind if this would have an affect on the rims I would need to get.

Also, who do you recommend I go to for price? I see that streetsports.com lists the 19" but I don't know if they offer the 18".

Thanks.
Victor

The wheel looks small in 18" due to the fat lip. BUT, if you still wanna do it, get 8" in front and 8.5" in back.

The 19" do look awesome and you're probably right that the 18" would look too small. I was hoping to save some money by going with 18" and stock tires but I rather do it right the first time.

Looking forward to seeing your TE-37's. Rouxeny has a Chrome Silver Z also and has been salivating over the TE-37's.

That's a good call...I've been through that many times, you try to save money and compromise a bit, but in the end you always go and do it again, costing you more. If you DO go for 18" though, i'd go for the TE37's instead, the +22mm offset and concave face look make them appear an inch bigger than they really are. The 19's look more like 20's...18's more like 19's.
