I have an '03 Pike's Peak White Z and I am looking for 18'' or 19'' black rims. The problem I am having when checking online retailers is that the pictures are poor quality and hard to tell the color accurately. I'm also undecided how I feel about having the chrome lip. I think I'd prefer a 100% black rim, to contrast with the white paint.

Any pictures please post, even if yours is not white.

There is also Volk TE37 in Diamond Black, which is the best black color out there. You also have a choice of 18 or 19" rim.

Volk also has gloss black.

black or even gunmetal rims looks great on PPW. i would go with the polished lip.....but either way it will look good. here's my LE's in GM:

 

Very nice..the more black w/ chrome I see the more it is beginning to grow on me. Looking at your picture now it's quite obvious how a chrome lip on a black (or GM) rim mimics the black and chrome Z emblem.

I also have a PPW and looking for some rims. Any others out there with rim pics on a PPW? Anyone running SSR GT2 (white or silver)? I'm looking mainly for white or black(ish) rims.

bronze or black both look really good on PPW. I went with bronze challenges but those black ones look sick too.

 

Just personal taste really. I had the bronze Nismo 17s on my MS Spec V. I have 15% tint on my windows so I'm going for the whole black on white high contrast look. Seeing what some other members have done has given me some really good ideas so far. I especially like the Enkei's above.

I'm not a big fan of the bronze or gold rims on the PPW. Just personal taste I guess - although they do look mighty nice on black Zs.

Anyone have any pics of white rims on the PPW? I've seen a lot of people say it looks bad and "ricey" but I've never seen pics to judge for myself.
