BFG KDW2's are they YR or ZR?
On bfg's site in a pdf they have em listed as ZR but tirerack and the rest and in other parts of the site they say only up to YR. I'm planing on using these as daily drivers, and for autox/trackdays is the YR just not going to cut it for the later? Or do they really make ZRs Anyone know?
Speed ratings are getting quite confusing these days.
The "Z" rating stands for the tire's capabilites to travel at speeds over 149mph.
The "Y" rating says that the tire is limited to 186mph.
It is still a "Z" rated tire with a "Y" limiter.
"W" is another limter of a "Z" rated tire stating that it can only go 168mph.
