Default Stock Tire question

What PSI do you recommend running the stock RE040's on the 18's... reason Im' asking is that the max pressure is like 50 lbs.. yet my dealer set it to like 34.. I'm just looking for even tread wear on these things as well as maximum gas mileage..

The recommended tire pressure is 35 psi when the tires are cold. You want to make sure that the tire pressure falls within the max tire pressure spec when the tires get hot. The tires get hot as you drive and my psi reading usually hits 38 psi to 40 psi after driving for a while. Thats an increae of 3 to 5 psi. So you can probably put about 40 psi when the tires are cold... and give yourself 5 spare psi's.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I never got a placard for the record, the car was in the show room and didn't come with one
