Default 19" or 20" RIMS?

I have a 350X Grand Touring Roadster. I was thinking about going with 20" rims? I was told the tracktion control light with come on if I went more than 19"? What size and rim mfg./style looks good and will clear the Brenbo brakes?

Who told you the traction control wouldn't work? From my understanding, the car measures rear vs front wheel rotation and adjusts accordingly. A rough estimate is having the rear wheel & tire 0.5 to 0.75 inches larger than the fronts for proper functioning. A smaller variance would result in a more sensitive traction control.

I like 18" for performance reasons. 19" & 20" look nice, but I hear the ride can be more harsh & those wheels can get pretty heavy, affecting performance.

why is everyone so down on 20's?...the weight difference is not noticable from what i've experienced (and these are really heavy wheels), and the ride quality is practically the same...get some volk gt-c's in 20" or something if you're worried about weight...unless you're going to the track all the time, 20's should be fine

I've seen a roadster w/20" Niche's and it looked pretty dang sweet... didn't even look like 20's until you got up close... There were 30 series tires on it which one would assume would be a rough ride but when I talked to the owner, he said it wasn't that much rougher than the stock ride...
agreed: would need to lower it a bit because the gap in the wheel well was noticable...

There is a 20" wheel thread somewhere on here. It will answer a lot of your questions regarding how 20's look on a 350. Happy shopping

I have 19" PIAA's and I definitely felt a difference in performance. The car feels a little sluggish, def. due to the weight. But, in my own humble opinion, I def. think they are worth it. The car feels like its on rails every time I take a corner, plus the 4.75" lip in the rear is absolutely sick. You have no idea how many people grill my car just cuz of the wheels...

some picks..

Your wheels looks awsome. 19 would be the highest I'd go. My friend had 19" Axis wheels and one of the front spokes cracked all the way across. I think 20" with low profile tires is just asking for problems. But, hey... If you have the money to replace...
