But you did something with your fenders, right? Stretched them a little?

I have had them on with stock fenders before...

Here is a pic of the inner fender clearance on the rear... inside)

my car slammed...

shorter then stock diameter... but keeps the same staggard as far as front shorter / rear taller like stock so it does not effect VDC... but does effect speedo...

that being said as well, you are pushing the limits of traction with agressive launches at the drag strip. chimmike states he is only a street driver. i don't think he'll light up a set of 275's

again, i qualified all my comments as my opinion . others may vary

I didnt run those times with the 19's but I can tell you something. From a stop, my 19's will outlaunch my stock 18" rims anyday. From a roll the car feels very slightly heavier. I had a track, so I went from 18.X lb rims to 20 and 21lb rims but went up a few pounds in tire weight. Now question Im slightly slower on the 19's but not enough to make a huge difference, and like I said the feeling the new tires give the car is amazing, so much traction at the limit taking corners, its much more confidence inspiring.

thanks alberto
i think, my opinion again , that many would look to you as the man to ask about the limits of straight line rear traction on a N/A Z

"my 19's will outlaunch my stock 18" rims anyday" - what tires did you have on your stock track wheels?

"the car feels very slightly heavier" - i agree, that's why i asked, and i went to 275

"its much more confidence inspiring" - YES

Thanks for the kind words...On stock rims Ive had the stock RE040's, S03's, Goodyear F1's, Yokohama ES100's, and Falken ZX somethings. The BFG KDWII's on my 19's grip better off the line. I think its mainly due to the massive width over stock. Ive pulled 2.0 60ft's on every set of tires Ive had on my stock rims. I havent run the 19's down the track yet, unfortunately I dont think I will run the 19's NA, Ill be installing my Turbonetics kit shortly after X-mas Be sure to post pics of your set-up when you get your tires

Back from the dead.....would 18x9 +21 18x10 +23 with 255/35/18 and 285/35/15 work similar to this setup? Meaning everything should be ok but the speedo will be a little off? Or do you think 245/35 and 275/35 would be better for my setup? btw most of my driving is spirited street...dont plan on tracking my car.

yes but don't run the 35 aspect ratio tires - they are too short. I've been running 255/40/18 fr & 275/40/18 just fine. This combination on 18" wheel is very close to stock diameters, speedo will not be off by much (0.2%) . If you run the 35 tire on a 18" wheel, your speedo will be off for sure ( how much - 4.2%).

I'm running 8.5"f 9.5"r. 275/40 on a 10" should be fine, the width range is 9" -11".

I have been running 265/35/18 F and 285/35/18 R,
Rims are 18x9 22+ F and 18x10 22+ R
Tires are Falken FK451
Tires dont look stretch at all. But I if can choose again, I would prefer 255 in the front. So that the front wheel will looks better.
It will work with VDC and speedo will be off.
Will clear fender

By the way, I am selling this setup
Matt

Thanks for the pics gooleung...im gonna try 255/35/18 and 285/35/18. You said your vdc/tcs works fine correct?? What makes you wish you went with 255 instead of 265??

You welcome Yup, My VDC just work fine. 255 instead of 265 will make your front wheels a bit smaller and more staggered look. You might want to check out this website. I think it is very useful.
