does oem brembo equiped z stop better then non brembo?

If you're going to track your car - BBK probably a good idea.
I have Stoptech BBK on front.
For street - you gain very little other than looks.
Only stops 2-3 feet sooner.

the big difference is not so much in stopping much shorter, but how many times you can bash the brakes before they begin to fade...
It is difficult to get the STop Tech brakes to fade especially when using a good race pad...
stop tech's web site also has alot of good info on brake testing with the 350z...
but unfortunatly they didnt have their 2piston rear kit when doing the testing...
