Yes. I recommend 4 snow tires. The drive wheels are for traction but of little value if the car doesn’t go where you point it.

You'll have to switch all 4 if you plan on turning or stopping .

Whatever you decide, you better act quick. Snow tires at tirerack are going fast within the last week. I would suggest Dunlop Wintersport M3 tires as it seems to be the popular model.

For snow tires, thin is in: new wheels and tires 7-inches wide works well. This late in the year, suitable winter tires will be difficult to find.

i think with a lil skill and patience u can get away with it ...
dont look for hills to climb though...
practice ur drifting skills in an empty lot during the next rain storm so incase ur car hydros off.. u got some idea of what to do...
just go granny speed...
ppl spin out or get stuck or even crash is mainly b/c they dont observe speed limit(fine i'll stfu about the speed limit) or the limitation of the car, weather conditions, driver!

well i apreciate all the comments. i have a very good idea of how to drive a red car in the snow.. my car be4 this was a 85 cutlass 442 worked.. with a possie rear. that car was all over the place.. never put snow tires on it once. but in real bad snow storms i left it parked lol

now the 350 is my only car, and i need to get to work in the snow ( i work for the dept. of sanitation) so i need to clear the roads... i just bought a set of dunlop M3 from tirerack.com after i found out i had an account through my fathers business. a set of 225/45vr18 and 245 for the the rear ran 736.63 to my door, no tax, and no 15% off...

i hope they r good, every one says the blizzaks were the best . i was in the market for the nokains, or blizzaks, but i seen the rating of the dunlops and they were a little better, on paper ne way? ne 1 have ne experiance on them?

thank you espresso

Had our first real snow here yesterday. I'm pretty happy so far with the Dunlops. I dropped down to 17" myself just to keep the cost down.
