Default Forced Induction Traction Problems No More !!!

If your running 19" 's and having trouble getting traction and are looking for an R compund tire safe for wet use to hook up with look no further. Your problems are now solved.

Front PZero Corsa Direzionale

Rear PZero Corsa Assimetrico

If you can't hook up with a set of these in the 295 size you aint got a prayer.

R compound w/a treadwear of 60 !!!!

Pirelli says the tire system uses the 255 PZero Directionale on the front size 255/35/19 to evacuate water so this 295/30/19 slick with a bit of tread can function in the wet.

Finally an R-compound in a 19" sizes in the correct width and aspect ratio to fit the Z........ Yippieeeeee !!!!!

I just bought a set. I'm saying goodbye to loss of traction with my turbo power.

BTW.... these are not cheap !!!!!

Respect

Corsa's are pretty decent. I had them on my formerly heavily n/a modded z and could still break them loose in second. They are very good on a road course though. They are very slippery before they are hot, so be careful when you first jump in the car. Let them get up to temp and then enjoy the sticky.

I bet these handle great and are better than most street tires but as far as drag racing and getting traction out of the hole, a set of $300 drag radials would own these

I didn't want to be the one to say it.

Whats the point, why not go with 18" wheels and have a huge selection of race tires to choose from, not to mention lighter wheel/tire combinations to keep the unsprung weight down. The only reason I could see for running 19" wheels with race tires is for clearance of 15 or 16" Brakes.

Because some people like the look of 19's and wide rubber. IMO most aftermarket 18's look too small, although they may be wide. BTW they are not all heavy, my 19X10.5's are 20.8 lbs, thats 7 lbs lighter than the factory 18" performance/touring rims....

They don't make 19" drag radials. I need a tire that will not compronmise handling. I want my 19" wheels, and I want sticky tires. There are lots of us with 19's that want to hook up under boost. It's not that I like the look of wide rubber. It's a necessity for traction with Turbonetics.

so how long do those tires last?

yeah I'd be much more likely to run street legal competition tires than drag radials on the street

I know they dont make 19" DR's, Im hoping my 285/35 19" KDW II's will be enough to get going ok with my Turbonetics kit. I know it wont be easy, but it can be done. I wouldnt spend so much on those tires in 19's, Id just mount my slicks when I wanted to bust somebody's a$$ from a dig, or put my stock track rims on with DR's for much cheaper.
