Default 04 17's Z rims on my 03 Track edition

There is some guy that is selling his rims and I really want to buy them because they are smaller. I have a 03 Track with Volk 19's. The guy is selling 17's. Will they fit my car? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but the rotors and calipers the track are bigger.

Well the OEM 17's are lighter than Volks. Maybe he wants a lighter rim for track events.

not to mention race tires for 17s are cheaper that of the 18s.
I'd like to know this as well too, I'm in the market for FN01RC rims and want to use 17s for track days. I was thinking 17x9 +35 and 17x10 +35, but I'm unsure if the wheel construction will clear the front brembo calipers. I've searched on here and on G35D and couldnt find anything regarding clearances.

The will fit but they are not lighter than Volks. The stock 17"s weigh 22-23lbs the stock Track wheels weigh 18-19lbs. My 19" Volk LE37T's weigh 19-20lbs.

The advantage the 17" rims have are that tires are cheaper and you have more flexability on how much you can lower it.

Oh yeah? Well I will trade him my even smaller 17 inch rims -- that's TWO (2) entire inches smaller than his 19". And if he acts now (and only right now), I will throw in my 16" spare, a 50 dollar value, for FREE!
