Now I have a ? where should I paint, the spokes and the rim that goes all around the spokes(where is says rays logo)? or paint all the way to lip? if this isnt making sense ill try to explain, but if it does then advice on which would look best, cause i cant tell n pictures

Just wondering, would it be easier to paint the entire wheel first, and then polish the lip? I've never done anything like this before, so I'm just wondering...

Also, these are powdercoated, but it may help you decide:

well polishing lip after powdercoating is more of a PITA then painting them. Besides the guy is friend of mine and doing it for 25 bux a wheel, better then anywhere on the market, i prep, he shoots it, saves me money and i learn.

And we are painting the whole wheel first then polishing thru it, i just need to know how much polishing should i do, for it to look best?

Okay. That's exactly what I was thinking/suggesting: paint the whole thing first, then polish the lip. The link I provided is of a powdercoated wheel with polished lip (versus painted wheel with polished lip that you are doing), but it still may help you decide as to where you should have painted/polished portions. Personally, whatever that guy in the link did with his wheels looks good to me.

Hmm....not sure about that. Since it is a one piece rim, I couldn't say. I know with my SF Winning, since it's a 2-piece wheel, only the "lip" portion is polished. The rest of the barrel is not. However, I'm not sure where you would stop with a 1-piece wheel. You can maybe see how LE37t is polished/painted.

Or you can also ask the guy what he did. PM him: 350ZNV
