Plan to run these sizes. Am I asking for trouble?

I ran the 255/35-19 285/35-19

I dont know what the deal with the 40 series up front is for? what are you trying to accomplish? am I missing something? or is it a typo?

they were on the rear, figure just move them to the front

I went down to 18's

winter tires

245/45
275/45

summer tires

285/30
315/30

no pics because I have winter tires. you can go to www.violentracing.com and check out the cars on there. The silver roadster (click on the cars link) is running that set-up that I will be running for summer tires.

i had 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 and the slip light would engage on sharp turns.
so i would not get these sizes.

just remember, the rear tire has to be taller than the fronts.

that was my concern but wish me luck I will report back worst come to worse I have to get new fronts 255/25/19

why not get 255/35/19, which will fit perfectly with the 285s.

then get a 285/40 to go on the rear. what is the tire make and model of the 255/40?
