Default NISMO Strut Bar

Hey Everyone,

Anybody have any experience with a NISMO Strut bar? I was at my local dealer the other day, and saw a black poweder coated strut brace. Looked really cool. I dare not even bother asking about the price. I hadn't seen or heard of it prior to this sighting.

Anyone running this on their car???

THANKS!

Someone probably had their strut bar powdercoated and then put a Nismo logo decal on it. When I had my stock front strut bar on my car I put a Nismo deacal on the center of it.

My current strut bar is the Crawford one that I had painted black to match my Crawford plenum.

Hey ZPirate,

Thanks for the response.

But no, this was a totally different bar. It was on display on the wall of the parts department. It was really wide and flatter looking. Wasn't a Nismo sticker. It was actually stamped into it.

I think they do for a Sentra.

Yes, I just checked the Nismo web site, they make one for the SpecV. I have seen this around several different Parts Depts.

I think he just assumed it was for the Z. He said he saw it hanging on the wall.

The OEM Z Strut Bar is very functional... no need to upgrade it... Most of the strut bar replacements are not as functional as the stock...

The OEM Sturt Bar on the Sentra 2.5 / 2.0 is pretty weak compared to the NISMO bar...

i agree the oem strut bar on the z is good, which is why it pained me to remove it for the APS plenum. looking at performance nissan's site, it sure looks like the aps bar and the crawford bar are very similar. any reason the aps is worth another $75?

No other aftermarket strut bar can claim they can surpass the OEM one. The OEM one is the strongest.
