i have after market rims and they have been on the car for about
2yrs....all of a sudden the light comes on and stays on....is there a
reset button or something? i checked the owners manuel and all
it says is that the stock rims have the sensor, but it shouldnt work

Yeah i have this problem too but their is no way to reset it. But my psi light goes on after driving atleast 30-40 miles. It's really not a big deal when you get to where you're driving turn off the car and the sensor is off. But nothing to worry about so you should be fine.

It's possible that the light is on because it's not getting any signals from the wheels? I would check with the dealership. I believe if you installed the sensors, the delership may calibrate them to work on your wheels.

I had this happen before. I think it might be receiving a random radio signal from somewhere. It kept happening to me at the same places on the I-5 freeway in California, which led me to believe the light came on due to an outside signal.

Just ignore it....the same way you ignore your VDC OFF light

Mine only comes on in cold weather when driving on the freeway for 20 mins or 20 miles. It hasn't come in since this summer though. ::shrugs::

You could take apart the gauge cluster and disconnect the LED lighting it... lol.

Maybe one of the TPS sensors died.
