BFG has not yet, to my knowledge, released it in our size yet, but I'm sure they soon will.

I'm all about the BFG "Y" rated KDW g-Force.
I have them on one of my other cars, and it felt like an entire suspension kit was added, just from those tires!

There are several KDW's.
I'm talking abou the Y rated ones with a traction rating of AA.

Just got em on, so far I think I am going to love them. Quieter than the stock tires, much more gradual sense of approaching breakaway.

Haven't run them in the rain on this car, but were OK on previous car that had them. I don't run hard in the rain. The newer Pilot Sport A/S is supposed to be siped to have better rain performance, and is a harder 400 compound than the 220 of the regular Pilot Sport.

They're more expensive than some, but I think they are worth it.

I put on the pilots as well, for all year driving. They are night and day compared to the stock tires in rain and snow.

I had the Pilot Sports on my previous car and they were great as well. Really good in the occassional downpour of rain and great grip. Low noise, but i had a convertible so all i heard was the wind.

I'm also curious what people have to say that have had experience or heard of others with Firestone Firehawk SZ50s or SZ50EPs. People seem to swear by them from what I have heard. I was going to get them on my Eclipse but determined it would be wasted money.

My wife and I had Firehawks runflat model on a C5 Vette, amazing tire. Cut the noise level so we could talk in the car, was responsive and out handled the Run Crap Goodyears, traction was way better. With The RunCraps I could turn the car sideways when nailing second, Firehawks where better also in the ride catagory.
Might be a waste on the Z as we have a spare tire, and they are a total B&^%h to mount as the side walls are extremely stiff, most of the tire jocks will shred them.

Im surprised Im the only one speaking out for Kumho MXs These are easily the best tires for the money. Even their V700s are quickly becoming the default competition tire wherever DOT spec tires are required. They just rock

In response to a previous post. Tread wear ratings can not be compared across different brands of tires. There is no standard for measuring tread wear, and therefore, no way to compare wear on tires made by different manufacturers.

Well, I am in the same boat here. I am trying to figure out whether or not to get the S0-3's, the Toyo Proxies, or the Kumho MX's. I have never experienced any of those tires (have the Pilot Sports right now), but I would like a tire that is quieter and lasts a little longer than the Pilots (I have 11K miles right now and need new rears). From what I have heard, the Toyo's will last a little longer, and the S0-3's have better grip (please correct me if I am wrong), and the Kumho's have a MUCH lower price. What am I giving up going to that lower price?? IF they are still quieter and last longer, I might give up a little grip for that since I will be getting dedicated AutoX tires/wheels. Can anyone here help me make up my mind??!!??

My biggest question: which tire is best in the rain? Since I drive half the year in rain I need something that does well in rain. I was actually really surprised how well the stock Bridgestones did in the rain.
