What does Newton drive? A 350Z?

LOL

so my powers of deductive reasoning tell me that members generally don't like 20" chrome wheels on a Z??? but like someone else said, go w/ what YOU want....your car and your $.

i asked the seller about the wheel quality and The seller told me American Racing Wheels are one of the highest quality wheels and they have been in business for over 50 years. is this true?

I thought you could buy American Racing Wheels at Wal-Mart unless I'm thinking of another brand.

I think American Racing is a pretty old name but as far as quality goes, I'm not really sure.

My 18" Enkei are like 22lbs each. So 28lbs for a 20" ain't bad at all IMO.

Yeah, I used to sell mobile homes (trailers) and I always spoke highly of well made they were. C'mon man, you expect the salesman to say how lame these wheels are and that they should only be installed on Z28's? You bought a performance car, buy a performance wheel.

i weighed my 19" Volk Gt-C's and they weight like 60lbs. with the tire on it. Can air and a tire add that much more weight?

One wheel plus one tire equals 60 pounds! Wow! That would never cut it at the dragstrip.

American Racing is a quality wheel but they're popular with the American car tuning crowd. Sport trucks also.

I think a nice set of 18" wheels get alot of respect around here. :/ I know the Enkeis are pretty popular as well as Gram Lights and Volks. I'm going to tell you the truth, those wheels you picked out will look like crap on a Z. When people tell you "If it makes YOU happy, get it" it's just a nice way to say that you will look like a rolling joke everywhere you go. Look into quality wheels. 5Zigen, Enkei, Gram Lights, BBS, Volk, WedSport are all good places to start looking.

Best Regards,

Reav

davidv, seems that every three posts you write only changes your total posts by only one. So, if you have 5887 now, you more likely have about 15-20K.

Just an observation, guess I'm bored. Congrats!
