yes on my mini copper s and just last week I was taking a Left turn about 80mph and as I apexed the right passeneger side tire folded and grinded the lip of the rim. This tells me the sidewalls are very soft and if a mini cooper can fold the tire at 80mph imagine what your z would do to them. Just fyi

they were actually pretty good (WAY better than stock 17's) in the snow for the past 2 winter seasons here in CO.

In the dry I liked them, but it wasn't hard to push them beyond their limits. For straight line they were great. I didn't have any problems with the sidewall, they'd just loose grip with very aggressive cornering. I have 19" front and 20" rear.

It's not like you have a whole lot of options in 20" tires for sports cars.

They're great 18's.

Dunno about any good 20" tires.

Never ran the NT555's, but I can vouche for the NT450's. I've owned about 4 sets in both 15 and 17. A good performing, long lasting tire. Not very expensive either.

Default Thanks, do you think I will have feathering issues with the 20's?

I was not impressed with the set of 19's that I ran. Before that I had the Kumho MX's which I thought were awesome tires.

I have them right now on my Z... They are good tires, pretty sticky on dry. Good, but not great on wet surfaces. The search button is your friend.

I am suprise to hear you say that they did better then stock 17 in the snow. I drove my in the snow one time this year and struck do to no traction. It was like drive with two ice cubes as wheels.

Overall the Nitto are pretty good in dry conditions. I do not like them wet or extremely cold conditions. I will go with a different brand the next time I buy tires.

I would rather go with falken 451's compared to the nitto 555's. I've had both and the falkens outperform the nittos.
