The group buy prices that iForged were offering blows the Yokohama prices out of the water for what you're getting.
iForged;
19*8 2.5" Lip $499
19*10 3.0" up to 4" Lip $525
Total before shipping = $2048
Only $2048 for a MUCH better wheel IMO.

I have to disagree about iforged being better. Besides your driving a Japanese performance car why not put wheels that are made and raced for your car on your ride. Iforged belongs on domestic rides.

I'll stick with iForged for now.
A while back I used to browse IS300.net and some kid there had a set of Advan (yoko) Model 5's. He craked one of the wheels during normal driving conditions. Once again, I'll take a forged wheel over gravity cast an day.

Infact, looking at wheels that are produced by Volk, 5Zigan, OZ, BBS, Hamann, Antera, AC schnitzer, Hartge, AMG, HRE, SSR, iForged, Axis, Lowenhart, racing hart, oettinger, Lorinzer, Dronnell, etc......ALL OF THESE COMPANIES OFFER A WHEEL THAT HAS SIMILAR CHARACTERISTICS to the look that is tradtionally "domestic", yet many of these companies specialize in wheels for cars that are either German or Japanese.
Personally, It seems to me like the cars that look good with these "domestic looking" wheels are the BIG HP japanese and BIG HP german cars (Skylines, RX7, supra TT, 350Z, porsches, M cars, AMG cars, etc......). versus the LOW HP japanese cars (honda civics, rsx, eclipses, etc.......for some reason these cars, imo, look better with the lightwieght look like the JAPANESE wheels you are talking about).

The Model 5s and 7s are cast. An 18" wheel weighs about 18-20 lbs., and a 19" weighs about 22-25.
Before everyone gets in a huff, you do realize the overwhelming majority of wheels are cast and not forged. You can count on two hands all the companies whose wheels are forged: BBS (only the LM, RSII and the RGR are forged), Blitz, Fikse, Forgeline, HRE, IForged, Kinesis, Mugen (some designs), TRD, Volk, and Work.

It doesn't surprise me at all. Look how much guys are paying for those huge SUV wheels or these spinner wheels. It is all about style. How the wheels look. How they make the car look. Even if your wheels were made out of indestructable material and were warrantied forever if they don't look sweet people will never buy them.
