The objective is too put wider wheels on the car. The limiting factors are inside clearance (suspension components) and outside clearance (fenders).

Well lets see... Im sure people on this board do it because they have an agressive wheel offset and wider tire combination that go beyond the rear fender... I have SF Challenges 19x9.5 +28 and 19x10.5 +23 wrapped with BFG KDW2's, looking straight down from the top most part of the rear fender I can see that it "sticks out" a little bit... So that means when I get my coilovers I need to roll them (and maybe have them pulled)...

Tools needed are:
Fender rolling tool
Heat gun (not a blow dryer)

Fender rolling is done by heating the area with the heat gun then folding the lip on to itself... Heat is needed so the paint doesnt crack... Patience and experience is the key to good fender rolling...

Depending on where you go it may range from $50-$200...

Check your local forum to see how has had it done and ask to see if you can meet them and see what fender rolling is all about...

Well I hope that helps...

The other option is to cut the inner part of the fender. This is easier and more body shops will do it because there's no chance of the paint cracking since your not bending the metal. All you have to do is cut the right amount off the inner part of the fender and make sure to use undercoating or paint the area that was cut to prevent rusting. I got this done to fit my 10.5" rears and it only cost $70. Takes less than an hour and just as good as "rolling"
